AVTI Celebrates Graduation of 60 Beneficiaries in Partnership Program
Atlantic Vocational Training Institute (AVTI) has marked the successful completion of a vocational skills training program, graduating sixty beneficiaries in a ceremony that highlighted achievement, partnership, and new opportunities.
The program was implemented by Catholic Relief Services Liberia with funding support from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It focused on equipping adolescent girls with practical vocational skills and the confidence required to pursue sustainable livelihoods.
Participants underwent hands-on training designed to prepare them for real work environments. Beyond technical skills, the program also strengthened their ability to make informed decisions and contribute meaningfully to their families and communities.
AVTI expressed appreciation to its partners and donors for their continued support, noting that such collaboration plays a vital role in expanding access to skills development opportunities across Liberia.
The Institute reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment, with a clear focus on ensuring that young people are equipped to become productive and self-reliant. Plans are underway to continue similar initiatives, with the aim of reaching more young women in need of practical training.
The graduates were congratulated for their dedication and encouraged to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to improve their livelihoods and create lasting impact within their communities.
