AVTI Graduates 60 Adolescent Girls in Skills Training Program
Atlantic Vocational Training Institute (AVTI) has graduated sixty adolescent girls following the successful completion of a skills training program in three trade areas: Pastry, Cosmetology, and Interior Decoration.
The training was made possible through the support of exiled Liberian activist Martin K. N. Kollie, whose sponsorship provided the participants with access to practical, career-oriented education.
Over the course of the program, the students received hands-on instruction designed to equip them with skills that can lead to employment or self-employment. The training focused on real work situations, helping participants build both technical ability and confidence.
Speaking at the graduation, AVTI emphasized its continued commitment to youth development through practical education. The institution noted that investing in skills training remains one of the most effective ways to empower young people and support national growth.
Graduates expressed appreciation for the opportunity, stating that the program has prepared them to begin earning an income and to contribute positively to their communities.
AVTI remains dedicated to ensuring that young people are equipped to become productive members of society, with the skills and mindset needed to build sustainable livelihoods.
Atlantic Vocational Training Institute (AVTI) is a registered vocational training institution in Liberia providing practical education in digital skills, entrepreneurship, and technical trades.
